The Karma Role is rooted in participation and responsibility. Those in this role support the facilitators with simple, essential tasks that help the space run smoothly—assisting with set-up, helping maintain shared areas. At times, this may also include being available to respond to small needs as they arise during the week.

This is not staff work, nor is it a formal position. You are first and foremost a participant in the retreat experience. The intention is mutual support: you receive the immersion at a reduced rate, and in return you offer your presence, care, and willingness to help steward alongside us.

This role suits someone who is grounded, self-directed, and comfortable taking initiative without needing close supervision. A practical attitude, reliability, and respect for shared space are essential. This role is limited to one person. You will stay in your own small private room at Tierra Cosmica.

We hold two scholarship places for those who feel a genuine call to attend but would otherwise be unable to do so financially.These places are offered at cost price. No profit is made. They exist so the work can remain accessible to those who need it most, while still honouring the real expenses involved in holding the immersion.

 

There is no obligation attached to a scholarship place. You are welcome to simply arrive and participate fully. That said, a spirit of contribution—whether practical, relational, or energetic is always valued and strengthens the group as a whole.

Scholarship places are limited to two participants and will be offered based on sincerity of intention, readiness for the work, and the sense that the retreat will be meaningfully supportive at this point in your life.
